11:15– 12:00 Lunch

12:00 – 12:30 Diapering/Wash up

12:30 – 1:00 Prepare for nap on mat

1:00 – 3:00 Nap time

3:00 – 3:30 Snack time

3:30 – 4:00 Indoor/outdoor play

4:00 – 5:00 Reading, singing, ABCs, colors, numbers

5:00 – 6:00 Good-Byes

Like the other classes these children continue everyday to expand their knowledge on the surrounding world. They do so through problem solving, discovery, and role play. They are full of questions about how everything works and why things are the way they are. We guide them as they explore new things and expand their ever-growing minds. We provide a safe and comfortable learning environment as these little ones conquer the world.

This classroom is designed to prepare the children for kindergarten. These children’s vocabulary is flourishing along with their imagination and knowledge about the world. They continue to think symbolically, listen to stories and are able to recognize some written words. These children are able to write some letters and their first name.

This age continues to grow more independent, uses words to convey their emotions, and their social development is at the center of playtime. They are learning to work cooperatively, share, and be kind as they develop friendships with their classmates. At the end of the school year these students are equipped with the social skills and academic foundation they need to succeed in kindergarten.

Summer Session III

August 18 - 22

Monday - Today we will make key chains.

Tuesday - Today the children will limbo to tropical music.

Wednesday - Today we will make waves with our water buckets.

Thursday - Today we will learn the Five Little Fishies Song.

Friday - Today we will color our seashells and sandcastles. Mr. Jonny will build a REAL sand castle.

August 25 - 29 (Days of Fun!)

Monday - Today we will have a day at the park. Let's learn about bugs!

Tuesday - Today we will have a day at the fair. Let's make shirts!

Wednesday - Today we will have a day at the Zoo. Let's make hats!

Thursday - Today we will have a day at the beach! Let's make caps!

Friday - Today we will talk about our favorite day during the week. We will make icees!
