Infant Classroom

Research proves what you already know…your baby’s first years are critical to success in school, relationships, and life.  Mighty Minds, Little Hands International Preschool teachers and administrators care for babies with genuine love and affection, and constant attention to developmental needs.

Infants are cared for in a warm, loving, infant-only environment (similar to the one they have at home) where they can build trust in themselves and those who care for them.  While in our care, you child will continue to receive intellectual and physical stimulation to foster development.

Our infants’ curriculum consists of developmentally appropriate activities designed to help your infant reach key milestones.  As a parent, you are assured that your child is exposed to different stimuli and learning activities at the developmentally age appropriate pace.  We recognize that infants develop at vastly different paces, which is why teachers periodically review your child’s progress using the Developmental Milestone overview.

Some of the program includes:

v     Hundreds of activities including reading and singing to your child

v     Weekly lesson plans which include age-appropriate activities designed to meet the individual developmental needs of your infant

v     Promotes socio-emotional, communication, and physical development

v     Daily records that lists the time and nature of your infant’s activities-sleeping, eating, bowel movements and developmental milestones

The Infant Classroom is divided into 2 rooms: the Bugs Room (infants) & the Rainbow Room (mobile infants). The Bugs Room is taught by Ms. Linda (Lead Teacher), Ms. Florence (Lead Teacher), & Ms. Gulsanam (Assistant Teacher).  The Rainbow Room is taught by Ms. Sonia (Spanish Lead Teacher) & Ms. Rebecca (Assistant Teacher).
